viOLet Leaves Empire
@ Scene news channel

It was reported that viOLet had joined Team Empire a few months back near the start of 2012, he's now in search of making the best of this and going places to further his gaming career.

Nothing bad going on here, no argument -- just a contract that's expired. His manager Andrew Tomlinson over at CSN stated on Twitter that John Clark manages most of viOLet's stuff on the number side of things, and that there's a possibility with the current fan base that viOLet holds, he could go solo.

Under Empire's name, viOLet pushed forward as an innovator for the Zerg race, winning several large tournaments, the king being MLG Spring Arena 2 where he took out Symbol 3:1 in a mirror series. Holding title of Zurgeon for both wearing a medical mask to contain his cold at Spring Arena 2 as well as technically manipulating his opponents and strategically placing units around the map.

Currently, viOLet resides in South Korea where he dropped out of GSL Code S in the Ro16, 2-0'ing MVP but losing to Seed and Taeja. Plans of him returning within the next few days are set to be on schedule. Any updates regarding his team pickup can be found here at Cadred. We had the chance to Skype Andrew on some additional info, as seen below.

To prevent theorycrafting:

-Has stated he prefers foreign teams over Korean teams
-Will be flying back, meaning he will not be staying in Korea
-Contract expired, meaning viOLet and Team Empire are still on good terms
-May chase the independent player structure (i.e. Grubby, White-Ra, etc.)
-Will begin streaming once again shortly after his return
