Not long after the HomeStory Cup had finished rumors of possible problems between the Evil Geniuses management and player started arising. This chatter seems to have found an element of truth in them after a twitter post.

The player in question is EG's Geoff "iNcontroL" Robinson, a long term Evil Geniuses player who only just recently did an interview with us. During this interview a broad range of things were discussed, including possible retirement from gaming in favor of casting or managing, as well as the desire to perform better for an organization as prominent as EG.

The rumor had it that there was a conflict between the Evil Geniuses management over Geoff not wearing his team attire throughout all of the days of the HomeStory Cup. In hot conditions and unable to wash the team shirts it seemed that the player simply ran out come the final day.

The player also alluded to some "bad news" after the competition and it's not clear what this could be or indeed if it relates at all to the rumoured dispute. The results of all this are uncertain, but in a tweet Geoff "iNcontroL" Robinson hints at changes, because he should be happier than he currently is after such a great weekend. What exactly these changes will be remains to be seen.
