With the addition of the latest hero to League of Legends there's the inclusion of one of the more complex heroes that RIOT has developed.

A ranged carry, a jungler, a melee initiator... Jayce can be played in all of these roles and his mix of abilities should make him a player likely to be seen in competition soon.

The description on the RIOT homepage reads:

Jayce takes decision-making to the extreme, as he’ll choose between fighting as a melee or ranged champion, picking up a different set of abilities in each form. Jayce can wade into the heat of battle with the Mercury Hammer, or pick off targets from afar with the Mercury Cannon. Jayce not only plays differently throughout the game but can build for an entirely different experience in each individual match. If you’re interested in a jungler, fighter, ranged carry, or even a mix of all three, take a look at the Jayce Champion Spotlight!
