After the long regular season the NASL is down to its final eight
participants going head to head in a single elimination bracket.
The first round of the bracket throws up some interesting games for
the viewer with two of the best Zerg’s outside of Korean clashing with
Protoss players who both tend to steer clear of the all-in/timing push
focussed play we see all too often in PvZ. There is also a repeat of
Season 1’s Grand Final with MC taking on Puma and should Puma advance
he’ll be only two more victories away from securing a third successive
NASL title. Finally, home favourite Huk will be tossed into a tough PvP
against MLG Spring Championships silver medallist Alicia. The
instability of the matchup will make this a nerve shredding game for
fans of either player and an exciting match for the neutral. We’ll have
to see if Korea can continue its march of domination in this distinctly
un-American North American Star League.
