Sleep Leaves Check-Six
@ Scene news channel

After an agreement from both sides, Korean player Seonghan "Sleep" Kim has left the Check Six Gaming organization in hopes of finding a Korean team to play for.

As the organization has stated, Sleep will be remaining in South Korea as a free agent and will continue to seek a team that will be the right fit for him. After not really breaking through in the Starcraft 2 scene as a top tier player, both parties decided it would be better to pursue different paths in the future, resulting in the departure.

He's performed very well in online cups and smaller tournaments, but has failed to stun the crowd at major events including MLGs, never placing high enough to get a turn of the neck. The Check-Six guys had the following to say on the matter:

Check Six's statement:

After 6 months with CheckSix, Seong Han "Sleep" Kim and the team have parted ways. Though having solid performances at all live events he attended while representing CheckSix, both parties felt that Sleep was not a great fit for the team anymore. We hope he enjoyed his time on the team, but for now he will be back living as a free agent in South Korea.
Yet another Korean is left without a team as the summer months are in full force. Despite several teams having rumours circulating that they've been in search of a Korean player such as sleep, no such rumours have surrounded the Zerg as of yet. Further updates to come if they arise.
