The team list for the first ever ESEA-i CS:GO league has been unveiled.

With the American CS scene on life support people have been crying out for a title that can save the genre from a whimpering death. Since the collapse of the CGS, a league in which the Yanks went all in, they have struggled to build up a solid and sustainable scene, something which ESEA has tried its hardest to do. Despite their efforts and their succession of healthy prize-paying tournaments the decline has been there for all to see, a decline which many believe may now be over thanks to the release of CS:GO.

Indeed while us Euros ummm and ahhh over the new title the Americans have jumped at the chance and with ESEA keen to push CS:GO as much as possible they've been quick to organise the first ever CS:GO invite league. The men behind the league have been speaking to a number of key figures in the American and Canadian scenes and have handed out invites to an eclectic mix of teams. Three 1.6 teams, four CS:S teams, four teams who took part in last seasons open CS:GO league and even a Call of Duty team thrown in for good measure.
