He's a former SlayerS member and most recently a LighT member that left after he seeked to further his e-sports career as many players have been doing recently, going in and out of teams trying to find the one that best fits them.
Jo Myeong Hwan, AKA Golden, has joined Quantic Gaming today in hopes of doing well in both foreign and domestic tournaments in the forseeable future, stating that he's had a newfound motivation to do well and push forward.
The Korean Sheth as some call him for his well-mannered stream etiquette, has been in the scene for quite some time, peaking in in several semi-premier tournaments and qualifiers, such as HomeStory Cup V's along with a respectable 4th place finish at GESL. Today we are very excited to announce that Cho "Golden" Myung Hwan, formerly of LighT eSports and SlayerS, is the newest addition to our StarCraft II team. Golden, a fan-favorite Zerg known for his playful and friendly demeanor especially on stream, has joined teammates Choi "TheStC" Yeon Sik, Kim "Apocalypse" Min Hyung, and team captain Kim "SaSe" Hammar as Quantic players in South Korea.
Myong Hwan on the situation:
Before joining Quantic Gaming, you were a part of Light eSports. But that you are now back in Korea, why the choice to join another foreign team instead of a Korean team?
I wanted to join a foreign team because I really like playing in foreign tournaments and think they are good experience. I came back to Korea on Monday and will be living here... for now.
After your contract with LighT ended, what made you seek out to join Quantic?
When my contract with LighT was ending, I spoke to some members of Quantic. They spoke very highly of the team and that made me want to see if me joining was a possibility.
Was there a final factor that made you decide Quantic was the team for you?
