Azubu Blaze has become the favourites of many for this tournament after their 3-0 domination of TSM. With Black coming off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Curse.na, they will be looking to prove why they earnt their spot at the Arena with some good performances against Azubu Blaze.

At level 1 Azubu Blaze look to invade the red buff of team Black, almost finding Svenskeren alone. Blaze steals the red, but Black respond by stealing the red of Blaze. Helios heads straight to mid and allows Ambition to take the first blood. He then heads to bottom to force another gank onto Alvik but ends up getting Reapered killed in a tower dive, losing a 1 for 0 exchange to even out the score. Helios is constantly aggressive with early ganks and his support is turning the lanes in the favour of Blaze taking an early lead of 3 kills to 1 and a 1k gold advantage at 8 minutes.

Black look to turn things around with some aggression and within 20 seconds they pick up 3 quick kills including a double kill for Rekkles. With Black attempting to get ahead they make a move for Dragon and pick it up for free at 10 minutes. Meanwhile a fight for the blue buff of team Black ends up in a 2 for 2 exchange of kills, whilst Black pull out a 1k gold lead having been behind by the same amount just 3 minutes earlier.

By 13 minutes Black attempt to catch Ambition in a 4v1 situation, however, he uses his Rune Prison on Lee Sin under tower to turn the fight in his teams favour as the rest of Blaze quickly arrive forcing a 4 for 0 exchange with a great teleport from Reaperd. Black respond with a push on the mid tower and a kill on Lustboy.

Further aggression at 16 minutes with another 2 for 2 kill trade as Black utilised the ultimate of Alvik to extend the life of Svenskeren in a prolonged fight. With Blaze up on kills 14-9, Ambition looks incredibly strong with 10 of his team’s kills, whilst 4 of the kills from Black sit on Alvik who won't scale as well into the late game as Ambition on Ryze.

An invasion from Blaze onto the red buff of Black allows Blaze to win a teamfight taking 3 kills without losing any of their own players. Svenskeren makes a skilful escape; however, this does allow Blaze to take a second mid tower. Blaze immediately force another teamfight with the ultimate from Cpt Jack displacing the team of Black with another 4 for 0 trade in favour of Blaze. Blaze push the inhibitor turret before having to back off. Black immediately attempted to rush Baron, however, Blaze reacted to the attempt and win yet another teamfight near Baron only losing 1 member of the team in comparison to the 4 dead of Black. This allows Blaze to push down the middle inhibitor.

At 26 minutes Blaze pick up Baron, putting themselves that bit further ahead and they immediately engage on Black after slaying Baron picking up a quick double kill. Blaze push on into the base of Black and force an end to game 1 with Ambition and Helios proving how strong a combo they can be for Blaze, with a large majority of the team's kills sitting on those two players.
