Team VeryGames, one of the more dominant teams in the Source scene for quite some time now, has seen a roster change that not many people saw coming. Led by Ex6TenZ for the last 3 years, the team has decided to remove apEX and replace him with SmithZz.

Nothing more to say for the French-dominant team, the leader being the lone Belgian. In the statement, we see some disdain come out from Mr. Madesclaire (apEX), stating that he was very disappointed that it had come to this, but would allow his manager to explain it in further detail. Due to this, we'll be seeing Eduard Dubourdeaux (SmithZz) take over for him. Below you can find relevant statements with the current roster at the bottom:

apEX's statement:

Hi all, It is with great disappointment I write this statement. Team VeryGames wanted me to be removed from the team for reasons that my manager will explain better than I. I'm really disappointed that this collaboration ends, but I can not blame anyone but myself. They tried to make me understand several times with almost no effort from me. For futher I do not know yet what to do, stop or continue, I'll see the opportunities open to me in the coming days. I want to thank Team VeryGames, the best structure for which I had the opportunity to play and also all my former teammates who made me live great times!

NiaK's statement:

Hello everbody, As you might doubt, a change isn't chosen in few days, and we think about it since some weeks already. During the last months, the team was lacking of a player capable of helping Ex6TenZ in his choices. Being the co-leader is very important, especially in a game schema that we would like to develop. apEX initially came in Team VeryGames for this, but we fastly noticed that he would have troubles to fully carry out this role. Dan has many individual qualities, but he must make changes in his gameplay, his temperamnent doesn't help him in this approach.I hope that this experience will help him for the future, and I thank Dan, from all the team, for what he gave us.
