Alright, Game 3 as we witnessed Curse fall 0-2 to the Bay Side Boys, TSM. Both massive teams in NA, both very respected. Let's check out how the final game of Saturday unfolded as we journey to Summoner's Rift.
* Curse Bans: Yorick, Nocturne, Malphite
* TSM Bans: Shyvana, Rumble, Alistar
* Curse Picks: Ahri, Kog Maw, Nunu, Janna, Dr Mundo
* TSM Picks: Graves, Soraka, Kennen, Maokai, Vladimir
First blood goes to Chaox picking up a kill onto Pobelter; this gives TSM an early advantage making the 2v1 tp lane appear to be a good plan. TSM running one of their favourite team comps with huge AoE damage from Vladmir and Kennen. Pobelter, struggling to farm, whilst Dyrus is having less trouble, pulling ahead each and every minute. Dyrus has been playing really well at this tournament so far, not falling once in farming. Another kill comes at bot lane for Dyrus onto Elementz as we see Curse pull one kill back at mid taking down Reginald, but TSM leads with 3 kills to 1, maintaining a 2k gold lead at 14 minutes in-game.
TSM look to take some towers to push their advantage; 17 minute wicked ace for TSM losing 0 members of their team with great use of the ults from Dyrus and Reginald -- this allows for them to take down Baron stretching to a staggering 7k gold lead, as they push down the second mid turret looking to utilize the Baron buff. TSM keep pushing with Curse struggling to find an effective engagement angle, as TSM pick up yet another Baron as soon as it spawns.
The clock ticks to 25 minutes as the gold lead continues to pull away. 9k, 10k, now almost 12 at 26:32 in-game as we see TSM attempt to go Rambo mode and take down the towers, but struggle due to a clever wave clear from Pobelter as a last attempt to salvage the game. TSM tower dives top lane and pick up a double kill for Chaox, allowing them to take 2 inhibitors down. GG's are called just under 30 minutes as TSM sweeps Curse with a clean 3-0.
Massive thanks to Brad for the help while I was AFK at dinner.
