It appears that one of the last remaining legends of the 1.6 scene is mulling over a move to CS:GO, if the latest post on his Facebook Fan page is anything to go by.

There are few names more decorated in the CS scene than Filip 'neo' Kubski. The Polish player has won pretty much all there is to win over almost a decade of top level competitive play, including numerous ESWC, WCG and IEM titles. As an individual he is considered one of the all time great leaders, great players and great captains and alongside his team they have cemented themselves in CS folklore. It's also worth noting that he and his Polish compatriots aren't afraid to take the plunge and try out new games, with the team attending the only WCG to feature CS:S back when the game was first released.

Now it seems like, for neo at least, CS:GO could be the way forward. The player has stated in the past that should the game reach the level of consistency and the standard needed for competitive play he'd be open to switching. Fast forward a few months and with the game nearing its commercial release he has unveiled his very own config on his Facebook Fan Page, helped by Swedish star Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund.

He said:

CS:GO config! Still learning the game so something might change, but that's the one I use right now! Credits to GeT_RiGhT for some tips!

With the Swedes looking likely to make the switch and many other players and teams eyeing up a move the latest legend to throw his hat in the mix will surely get some people excited. Could we actually be witnessing the unification of both scenes? Let's wait until release, but things are looking hopeful.
