LoL Arena: Learn From The Best
@ MLG LoL Arena channel

Yesterday we saw TSM bringing down Curse 3-0 in similar fashion as Azubu slayed TSM on the first day. The odds are against SaintVicious and his men but you can be sure that Curse Gaming will fight to defend their honor. Game 1 will probably set the tone, here's a summary on how that went.

* Azubu Blaze Bans: Malphite, Rumble, Urgot
* Curse Bans: Ahri, Vladimir, Shyvana

* Azubu Blaze picks: Graves, Shen, Maokai, Janna, Karthus
* Curse picks: Nocturne, Alistar, Ezrael, Morgana, Brolaf

Both teams kick off the series by warding their own blue and invading the enemy jungle . They both go for each others' blue's and while both teams know about it they just steal the buff. The laning phase begins with a roaming cow top lane. Elementz didn't recall after the blue and together with Saint and Pobelter they took first blood onto Reapered. Curse's jungler keeps pressuring top while Helios does his standard babysitting on mid. 3rd time's a charm for Azubu as we see Nocturne ganking top a 3rd time. however Reapered is able to run down to his teammates turning a 2v1 into a 3v3 which works out brilliantly losing none and taking 3 out.

Curse keep up the aggression and this time it's for the blue of Azubu with another 3v3 they trade 2 for 1 once again in Azubu's favor who take a slight lead for the time being. However a cheeky dragon for Curse takes the gold to about an even amount. Helios tries something else by coming bot lane with a gank but Saintvicious is there at the right time to make it a fair fight. But the Shen ultimate makes it a 3v4 which forced Pobelter to use his teleport, but it all happened to slow for Curse, Azubu are always a step ahead and that's been the story for this whole game. By taking top and bot tower they're getting the map control they want and with the global ults of Shen and Karthus Curse are in no spot to engage.

We're close to the 20 minute mark and it doesn't look good. 10K disadvantage, lost 4 towers, got none and a kill score of 14 to 2, Curse are way to far behind, all they can do is sit by their towers while Shen split pushes, taking even more objectives. The first real team fight reflects the score, Azubu only lose Karthus while their opponent lose everyone except the support. A few crazy back and forth battles where everyone basically respawns and runs in to fight to die logically goes in the favor of the Koreans. Curse wasn't able to deny the globals of Azubu and the Americans kept on trying to be the aggressor which was their downfall.
