mTw Change One
@ Scene news channel

As teams continue the chop and change ahead of the release of CS:Global Offensive the latest side to make a switch are mTw.

Towards the end of last year German organisation mTw revealed their plan for European dominance, picking up a collection of the most decorated CS:S players in Europe and giving them the backing required to be the best. Unfortunately things didn't really work out as planned and roster change after roster change left the team off the pace, when it finally looked like they'd put together a winning combination at the Copenhagen Games - defeating VeryGames, a team who had been their kryptonite for some time - they were outgunned by another UK side, mousesports.

Following their trend of switching players they rung in the changes once more after that tournament and after drafting in the Canadian Josh 'Steel' Nissan and Swede Alex 'rdl' Redl the team hoped to have the perfect collection of players to make the switch to CS:Global Offensive when it takes off. Now though it seems that blend of players wasn't ideal and someone has had to make way, just two weeks before the release of the new title and a few weeks before the hotly anticipated i46 CS:S tournament, that player is surprisingly Brandon 'weber' Weber.

The youngster has been considered one of the most gifted players in Europe since joining mTw last year and given his recent performances many will be surprised at the decision. The team will now be looking elsewhere for a new 5th and if rumours are to be believed they may dip into the American market once more, Brandon on the other hand must begin his search for a new team, something which shouldn't prove too difficult given his reputation.

He said the following to Cadred:

Unfortunately I could see this coming with how things were developing over the past few weeks, with tensions rising due to the release of CS:GO there were certain differences between me and one other teammate. As time went by this became irreparable and we mutually decided it was best if we parted ways. I wish them the best of luck in the future and I hope they find someone they can mould into a player they need. I'd like to thank Kevin, Lars and Paul for their help during my stay and obviously ex-teammates. I will be using this to also announce that I will be playing CS:GO as of now and optimistically I will be playing in the near future with a team competing at the top level once again.

He has also asked us to state that his contract with the mTw organisation has expired so should any teams be hesitant on the basis that they'd need to buy him out they needn't worry.

mTw are now:

George 'hudzG' Hoskins
Josh 'Steel' Nissan
Andre 'nooky' Utesch
Alex 'rdl' Redl
