ReDeYe Confirmed For i46
@ Scene news channel

As we revealed a little over two weeks ago Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner will make his return to the i-series and will be acting as host at i46.

The return sees the burying of an almighty hatchet that dates back to the commentators time with QuadV, a dispute with Multiplay leading to a parting of the ways and opening up the floor to new commentating talent.

After some sort of bad-blood transfusion though it seems that everything has been amended and as such we shall see the return of one of CS:S's most popular voices at the tournament that is the spiritual home for the game. It could well be a fitting send off for the game with CS:GO's release likely having taken place a few days before the event gets underway.

The news was announced on the Multiplay site and reads:

We are very pleased to announce that old skool Insomnia attendee and eSports presenting veteran Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner will be returning to the stage @ iSeries after several years away from the event. Paul first took part in the Insomnia Gaming Festival way back when UT was still cool, and CRTs were still the screen of choice, presenting tournament finals when they were still being projected onto the wall in the bar!

Things have moved on since then however, and Paul will be making his return to what could be one of the biggest and best Insomnia events ever! Paul has recently been in demand for events such as Gadget Show Live, IEM, Copenhagen Games and WCS, and we are very glad to bring him to the team at the i-Series.

Paul had this to say: "Having attended events with Craig and the guys at Multiplay more than 12 years ago and watched the i-series grow I am thrilled to be asked to return to host the stage once again. Insomnia lans were always something I looked forward to, either as a competitor in the past or as a host or commentator. Its three years and 10 events since I last attended an event with Multiplay and I cant wait to play a small part, working with the team in bringing the best damn LAN coverage from an insomnia lan ever!"

Craig "Wizzo" Fletcher said: "Paul has been a long standing personality in the world of eSports, and was around in some of the very early days of the Insomnia LANs, so its great to have him back on the stage once again. We are looking forward to Paul joining the team, and working with him again to bring the coverage of the UKs Biggest Gaming Festival to another level!"

After speculation about the future of Mathjis "A_Spec" Hoving, it was also confirmed he will remain as part of the commentary team and will join Paul on stage.
