I'm sure most of us, having been associated with Counter-Strike since day one, have watched or at least heard of Pure Pwnage, a web series that was started way back in 2004 that portrayed the life of a pro gamer, Jeremy, played by Jarett Cale.

Many things came from this show, including the infamous "BOOM HEADSHOT!" term, made popular by FPS Doug, a character in the series. Throughout the years, the show dwindled off and was forgotten by many, but Jarett is far from quitting gaming. He's just announced that he will indeed be the host for IEM Gamescom coming up in Germany. He will be joining Tasteless, Artosis, Day[9], and Kaelaris.
