It's the Grand Finals. Let's take a quick look of what we're looking at here.

We have First, a former KTF Brood War pro facing off against Leenock, FXOpen's ace Zerg player that has seen the MLG spotlight before, winning Providence last year. Can the young Korean overcome the Brood War pro, or will old school beat new school? Let's recap.




Metropolis
Leenock spawns at the southwest position, First at the northeast. First opens with a gate, gas, and then cybernetics core in his main base, not walling with them. He blocks Leenock's natural with a pylon, Leenock takes his 3rd base. Leenock clears his natural of the pylon, but does not expand to it. First prepares to expand and begins walling on his low ground with his next two Gateways.

Leenock prepares to Nydus First's base, but the Overlord he intended to use for vision for the Nydus had been spotted. A Probe gets into Leenock's main and scouts the Nydus in his base. Leenock runs the Zerglings he had intended to Nydus with to First, but hits against the Gateway wall off, and decides to surrender.
