H2k.DotA2 Gone; Fold Incoming?
@ Scene news channel

It's been a problem organization since the beginning. Since the late days of CoD2 and forward, the organization known as H2k Gaming has been riddled with problems, both financially and internally. On top of losing their DotA2 squad today, it's viable to say the entire organization has folded for the third time in less than three years.

If you recall, their DotA2 squad formerly known as "We haz Asian" was picked up this past week. Due to the owner disappearing and money not being paid, they've decided to immediately leave the team and post a rather lengthy post via their Facebook page which you can read below.

We haz Asian on the sudden move:

Dreams...

Let me tell you something about dreams. There are two sorts of dreams, ones that arise rather short-handed, and those that you have had for a long time. Let me give you an example: When we attended Samsung European Encounter at gamescom, we had rather low hopes to achieve a good place there, because teams like Infused, MYM were seemingly one step ahead in their play. After we won the fi
rst matches, the dream arose that we might actually have a shot at winning money and respect. And we did. Our short-handed dream came true, boosting us with confidence. Dreams of the second category are - as i said before - rather those that you had for months or even years. One of those was - and I am not only speaking for myself but for the whole team - attending Dreamhack. Meeting your teammates in person, meet your idols, have a beer with Tobi and Draskyl , have a word with NaVi and spend almost a week with people that share the same interest and put as much effort into the game as you do.This dream was supposed to come true after we qualified for Dreamhack and THOR and got approached by a known organization such as H2k, which promised us to send us to both offline events. We remained sceptical as it is a big investment for every organization within such a short period. After the contracts were settled and the partnership was announced our scepticism changed into euphoria. We were actually going to Sweden! Fighting to settle our place within the best teams of Europe and North America! We worked hard for it, had struggles and doubts. But in the end our common dream was coming true, all we've been working for ever since we won SEE. Today, after our successful game against Virtus Pro, H2k disbanded. We will not have a sponsor to attend Dreamhack and THOR. Our long-term dream was destroyed. We have been pissed on by some sneaky people and a sneaky organization. Our dream lies in pieces in front of us, we feel embarrassed and deeply sad. Our euphoria got killed within a few seconds. We have to tell our family and friends that we are most likely not be able to go to Sweden and fight for a big bunch of dollars. That's the deal with dreams, they are fragile. Ours got thrown on the floor and we have to pick up the pieces and try to get our heads up again....

Much love for all our supporters cheering for us!

Sincerely,

RMC

With that comes numerous quesitons -- where is the owner, what really is happening and if inside sources that we've secured that are directly related to the organization are indeed telling the truth -- what will happen to H2k as a whole? Signs point to this being the third instance of them collapsing as an organization mainly due to failures, but everything is still vague as this is hot off the press. More information to follow.

H2k's DotA2 team was:

Philipp "RMC" Pausewang
David "Crydasia" Landmesser
Jonathan "unicornxoxo" Arge
Lauge "hiphopNOTpop" Feiring
Andreas Franck "Cr1t-" Nielsen
