Quantic Closes Doors
@ Scene news channel

Rather unexpectedly Quantic Gaming has closed it's doors today, leaving all teams and players on it's roster teamless and looking for a new organization to support them.

Earlier today suspicion was raised over a tweet by CompLexity's owner Jason Lake, who tweeted "Big NA team news coming later today. Not good news either. Can't elaborate w/o breaking trust but it's a sad day." Speculation ran wild but a few hours later it was official: Quantic would be closing it's doors after the main sponsors and investors pulled out of the organization.

It came as a big surprise, as players from Quantic had been travelling the world as close as 2 weeks ago to compete in events such as DreamHack's Winter tournament. Word came first from Rod "Slasher" Breslau who sent out a couple of tweets confirming and explaining the dire straits that Quantic had hit.

Sources have confirmed that Quantic Gaming will be closing it's doors for all games and teams, players looking for new teams.

@Slasher
Investors have pulled out from funding the team, players nor staff knew about this beforehand. Players in talks with other American teams.

Quantic had a plethora of StarCraft2 players under contract as well as international Call of Duty and League of Legends squads at the time of disbanding. As of yet there is no new announcements on where any of the players will go, but seeing the amount of premier StarCraft and LoL players that the organization bolstered it wont be long before the first ones will be announcing new teams.

The following premier SC2 players have been left teamless following Quantic's demise:

Kim "SaSe" Hammar
Choi "TheStC" Yun Sik
Cho "Golden" Myung Hwan
Devan "Hawk" Subramaniam
Jung Ho "DdoRo" Moon
Kim "Apocalypse" Min Hyung
Michael "Theognis" McClelland
Ryan "State" Visbeck
Michael "Spanishiwa" Yabut
Chris "Illusion" Lee
Derrick "PsY" Anderson
Eugene "HasHe" Demenchukov
Josh "Agh" Bland
Derrick "PsY" Anderson
Flo "Flo" Yao
Eugene "HasHe" Demenchukov
Zac "ChAnCe" Palmer
Madeleine "MaddeLisk" Leander

The LoL team consisted of:

Zach "Nientonsoh" Malhas
Hai "Hai L9" Lam
Gabriel "Yazuki" Ng
Daerek "LemonNation" Hart
Jason "WildTurtle" Tran
