With the new year getting started, the management over at Team EDiT were thinking what to do to celebrate the year 2008 and an idea of a new Counter-Strike: Source team came on the table. Everyone agreed that this time they wanted to add something more to it and it made it more difficult to choose which team to pick.

Their new CSS lineup is a bit different than previous CSS teams that have been playing for EDiT because all previous ones have been Dutch and this one is an all Swedish one which has been playing together for quite some time now. The lineup features players like cozman and fake who are known from playing in such clans as Tek9, letails and Dignitas. The lineup also features two players from a clan called druidz namely tykk and fudzx.

"This year I wanted to try something new, so I brought up some ideas with the other managers at EDiT and the idea of a new Counter Strike:Source team came out on top. Instead of following the traditional route if it being dutch we decided to change it around and go elsewhere. We have had a lot of teams come to us but no one shaped up to J's team. Now we can open up a completely new branch for edit and hope it takes us down a good road."
