ED Spring Invite: Week 2

Week one of this event saw some great matches, and you can check up on any results you may have missed here.

There are plenty more top fixtures coming up in week 2, all of which can be seen below. Matches with no scores and no dates have either been played without reporting the score, or have not yet had a date provided. SourceTV information will be provided as and when we have it available to give you.

Most people will also have been aware of the removal of Birmingham Salvo's Counter-Strike: Source team from this event, resulting in all of their games being defaulted as 2-0.

ED Admin Ben "Bub" Wood explained the situation to me:
Wez joined last nights game using an ID not on the Salvo ED Roster. After checking the ID it was shown that wez has a 2nd account on ED that is steambanned. (Not VAC banned but banned by steambans.com which ED mirror) Because of this we had to extend the ban to his new ID on ED and it was decided to remove Salvo from the competition.
