Team Alternate has just won the ShokLan 2008, in Luneville, France, earning themselves 1500€ plus hardware prizes.

Alternate won the tournament undefeated - in the group stage they finished first with 12 points, then in the Upper Bracket they beat fluid (16-03), pro1 (16-10) and in the Upper Bracket Final they faced Creativ, beating them 16-07.

In the Consolation final Creativ lost to Epsilon after overtime (19-17), despite the fact that Epsilon went into the Lower Bracket just after Creativ had knocked them down from the Upper Bracket, in a game which they lost 11-16.

In the Grand Final, Alternate needed to win only the first map, which was de_dust2, and with a score of 16-08, they did just that.
