Fnatic had an excellent Crossfire Devotii Challenge 4, winning it in a climatic one-match battle against the surprising

TLR. Obviously a team with such potential was going to do well, but it was gratifying to see them match the epic expectations that come with wearing the illustrious Fnatic tag. Despite the win, however, Fnatic have decided to ignore idioms warning against the changing of a winning team. While relegating Klanne to a backup position, the team welcomes back Zem from a holiday in Thailand, complete with a tan bright enough to compliment the organizations Orange colours.
Zem’s a player that’s been successful in sides throughout Cod’s history. He himself highlights teams such as Epitaph, Dignitas, WHO crew, and Fukyuu in a statement released on the Fnatic site. This move also tellingly reunites zEm with friend and fan favourite mintR, a partnership that has certainly worked to great effect previously. Both released statements upon the subject, which you can read below.
Martin ‘mintR’ Rojder Having zEm play for your team is truly an honour. One of the most experienced players in the game and also one of the most skilled players make him one of the top picks for any team. For me personally this is also amazing since I have played most of my CoD days together with him. zEm is a clutch player above most and it will be exciting to see what we can do with this new lineup over the next few months. Welcome back bebben!
Rickard 'zEm' Intveld After one and a half month on vacation in Thailand and following the boys online and via phone during the CDC4 tournament I felt I wanted to play with them again. So I decided to get myself a very expensive early ticket back home to Sweden and the cold to be able to attend i33 in England. From now on I will be playing CoD4 for about two weeks to get back in shape and up to speed with the team.
It will be very fun to play with the boys again and to wear the fnatic colours. They did a great job at CDC4 and I hope it can continue with me in the team.
Klanne himself performed well at the CDC4, and is unlucky to find himself in this situation. While none can doubt zEm’s prolific form in COD, it’s hoped that the decision will not upset the morale of the line-up ahead of the upcoming I33 event. Mintr did have this to say upon the subject.
It’s not all that clear on (in the initial statement release) why klanne has been put aside. zEm was always in our first 5. Klanne was taken in as a standin and the way he has performed for us has been nothing short of amazing. However we think that with zEm back we are just a nudge better and that's what we are going to find out over the next couple of weeks.
Klanne is still in our team, and although he's our sixth atm we feel strongly that he has done fnatic proud.
Time will tell what happens.
