Team-Ebuyer have decided to leave the Ebuyer organization, and have setup the temporary organisation "Guns4Hire".
Statement from Manager, John "Chilli" Day;
Back in January of this year I took the educated gamble to use the i33 lan budget for an unscheduled stop on our Lan calendar at iG5. The gamble was that by the time i33 came around, ebuyer would have been back to the negotiating table with TNWA Group to renegotiate the extension / renewal of the contract. Unfortunately, due to a number of reasons this is still in the pipeline and hasn't happened. Added to this was the additional expenditure the TNWA Group incurred paying for travel, accomodation and hotels for the team to attend Central Lan #19.
Because of this, the team has only received standard entry tickets for i33 with no additional funding for bed, board or travel. In light of this the players, who are not contracted to either TNWA Group or ebuyer have decided to cut all ties with the organiseation and to 'go it alone' letting their ability and results do the talking for them in the hope that staying together will get them a more consistent sponsor.
As for myself, I have done what I can for team ebuyer and will also be terminating my tenure with them. I have a great team of 5 and for the foreseeable future have no desires to work with anyone else but them.
From now we will be playing under the guns4hire banner, something we have created to showcase ourselves and our abilities. We have a hurried website up to enable people to track our progress at i33 and in the ED Spring Invite.
