Fnatic with changes
@ Scene news channel

One of the top3 european team, Fnatic, have been successful over the last months winning Crossfire Devotii Challenge 4, aswell as finishing 4th at the recent i33. However, the team is now forced into changes to keep their motivation high. Motivation is really essential in this case, as the top teams in Europe are so close to each other that the amount of practise is playing a huge role.

Now that the team captain, Martin 'MintR' Röjder, has just returned from his short period of inactivity, and will be replacing Jonny 'klanne' Wahlqvist, who didn't meat the requirements to play in Fnatic, the team has another newsflash to publish. The team is forced to say goodbye to a long term member, Mikael 'zsilts' Smedberg, who has recently been suffering from motivation issues. The one replacing zsiltz will be a former Banging it eurostyle! player, Johan 'Linqan' Lindqvist.

Elroy 'Noname' Pinto, managed to catch up with MintR for an interview discussing his Call of Duty career, his time in Fnatic, and also why the team have decided to make changes. The interview can be read on the fnatic homepage.

An extract of the interview

Why did klanne and zsilts chose to leave?
zsilts chose to leave because he has no motivation left to play the game, he has grown tired of it. he says he might be fit for fight again in a month but we don't have the luxury of being able to wait for him so we had to take the decision to let him go. klanne is our choice to let go, we feel he does not meet the requirements we have on the players in our team, he's just not up to par with the rest of us

What made you decide to take on Linqan and how do you expect him to fit into the team?
With the departure of zsilts and us not feeling klanne was the right type of player for us we started looking for a player that had an aggressive playstyle, someone who was swedish and could hold his own. We have seen linqan rip teams up for some time now and we approached him with an offer. We expect him to first get into the team and learn to play with us and then we expect him to be an integral part of our summer LAN season.
