H2K have emerged from nowhere to make it to the LAN79 Grand Final, I caught up with rFlex to find out more.
So rFlex, you've surprised everyone by getting to the final, whats the secret?
We got to the final by playing without any pressure, the only goal at this LAN was to prove that we can be good on LAN.
Before the LAN a large part of the community assumed you cheated, I think it's safe to say you've proved them wrong. Anything you want to say to them?
We had alot of good results online, that's normal for people to assume we're onliners, some people in the old lineup had difficulties performing with pressure on LAN. The new lineup was made with LAN in mind. So now it's alot better on LAN
What's been the hardest game so far for you?
Against fnatic on inferno, the match was very close, we won by winning alot of 1onX situations.
You're the only team so far who hasn't lost a map, do you think you're favorites in the final?
We don't know, eSuba have good players, I saw them and their players have very good skill. So I can't say anything about favorites.
Going into the LAN did you think you would get this far?
We didn't know, anything can happen, and it has.
So after this LAN will we be seeing H2K at some more international LAN's, TeX maybe.
Yes of course.
What do you make of your French rival, emuLate! dropping to esuba?
There are not really in the game, maybe they thought they would win easily, but esuba are strong and they proved to emulate that if you underestimate them, they'll surprise you.
