During all my days playing computer games, Four Kings has always been my favourite multigaming-org and to actually get the opportunity to join them myself is pretty cool.
Four Kings has proven to be the top european clan in TF2 and because of that I'm very happy to be a part of it. I'm going to practice a lot harder to stay on top from now on, I'm looking forward to having Masiina as a partner out on the field.
Leaving Excello was a tough decision, but for me to get anywhere further in this game, I had to move on. After getting some blessing from some of my former team-mates, I feel like this was definitely the right decision.
The current 4Kings roster is the one you will be seeing a lot of in the near future, it's basically a completely different one since our last ETF2L Season and Cup win.
The acquisition of Masiina, ryb and Paavi has already paid off by winning the ETF2L Finals vs. Fracture and with bybben joining us I´m quite confident we will keep the success coming.
In fact, having probably the best scout duo in the world (Masiina + bybben) should give us another edge over our opponents.
Our primary goal is to win the (not yet officially announced) CDC5 LAN event in September and the CGS qualifier starting in August.
Although we have still a lot of catching up to do regarding our team play (which we will try to fortify in the next 2 months), I am quite sure we can achieve those goals. You can read more about our recent changes in my blog on the 4Kings website.
I played with Fracture for 6 months and even though we'd been through some rough times it was always a pleasure to play with them. However, I was growing quite tired of TF2 and almost decided to quit playing.
When I was asked to join the new Excello squad I couldn't decline. Excello is one of the finest gaming teams in Europe and the opportunity to play with the top Swedish players was just the thing I needed to get my motivation going again.
Although I'm very sad to see them go, I'm confident that our new roster will prove to be a strong one.
Glufse and Fette will surely become one of the most fearsome scout duos, and with the most down to earth player in TF2, ins, as our new medic, we are hopeful to make a strong impact on the TF2 scene.
We now have a lot to work to do, especially our synergy and teamplay. However, time and practice is sure to sort that out.
Well I guess we all wanted to do something fresh. For example, Chode had wanted to stop playing TF2 quite some time, however he stuck with us until the ETF2L Final. That combined with cosmic, our former scout leaving, meant we lost motivation.
We grew tired of playing tf2 every night, either against the same teams, or against “run over” opponents. That made practicing stale and work-like. So we felt that we weren't going anywhere anymore.
