Crossed announce Line-Up
@ Scene news channel

The three remaining players from TLR LAN; Xrael, Leffa and Warclown

It’s been a long wait since the CGS EU Qualifier & Draft to find out what undrafted players would be doing, barring the 4kings fiasco, but today Cadred can exclusively reveal a new all-star international line-up has been formed, set to go far under the Crossed banner.

The line-up at the TLR LAN last weekend was never going to last. Despite an admirable second place performance, taking a large number of rounds off the eventual winners, the team included a player who was already in a CGS team. The spot would be filled by one of the remaining fnatic players not drafted by the CGS, Sandor “proph” De Munck, in addition Louis “Macky” Mcerlane would make way for another fnatic player, Mark “Airraid” Koks. This puts to rest any rumours of a fnatic revival, with only Darky left out of the original five.

Team owner and Manager Simon Adams spoke exclusively to Cadred;

First of all I’ll briefly introduce myself, I’m Simon Adams, owner of Crossed Gaming, I’ve been in and around the Counter-Strike: Source scene for some time now. After a good performance at TLR LAN I felt a few changes needed to be made to what was at the time essentially a mix team. At the LAN I spoke to Sandor (proph), someone I consider to be an extremely talented player about becoming a part of a new team I would be forming. This created a knock on effect and with the addition of Sandor’s close friend, Mark (AirRaid), the line-up was complete.

I think this team can go very far to challenge the best of the European scene, and with a medium scale LAN boot camp schedule between now and The eXperience.DK organised we feel we can arrived in Denmark in the best shape possible vying for that first place trophy.

This is the first of many teams hopefully here at crossed, where we not only provide everything a player needs, but also have our sights set on progressing eSports, and in particularly the CSS scene, something close to my heart, further towards where it needs to go.

We also spoke to Sandor De Munck about his thoughts on the new team;

Simon spoke to me at TLR LAN about helping him form one of the best teams in Europe. After the unfortunate demise of fnatic I was always on the lookout for a new team to compete with and I think crossed fits the bill perfectly.

We’re going to spend the next few weeks before the eXperience boot camping and practising hard, the team needs to work on general communication due to our different nationalities, but it’s something we can overcome easily.

We all get on really well both in and out of game and I think we’ll do very well.
