Four Kings today have ended the rumor mill surrounding Giftig's replacement in their Counter-Strike: Source lineup by announcing Jon "netion" Holmström as the new fifth player in the lineup. Holmström has played for notable teams such as FaxZup in the past.
Statement from Jon "netion" Holmström:
6-7 months ago I switched to source instead of 1.6, and back then I played together with Helblinde and tyron for a while. When that eventually went down the drain I went back to 1.6. One month ago Tyron asked me to play with these guys again, and I didn't hesitate to say yes! So here I am and I'm really glad to play Source again! I am also very proud to be a part of 4K and I will do everything I can to make them proud of me.
Statement from 4Kings Assistant Manager, Ian "Javax" Leckey:
I'm delighted that netion has come in to fill the void left by giftig's departure. The team have had it hard the last few weeks and patience has been strained at times, but everything's finally come together nicely. You'll see team's first performance this month at The eXperience, and again next month at i34. Netion will fit brilliantly in to the team, not only for his playing skill, but also because he lives close to the other 4 members of the team, which will benefit team practices and bootcamps.
