Today EYE sports announced that TEAM46 will be joining the organization as its Counter-Strike: Source squad.

In 2008 TEAM46 proved itself enough to be called the number 2 source team in Russia (after MGC) showing stable results both on LAN and online. Since the team showed its ability to improve constantly and train hard despite recent roster changes (c0m joining MGC) many multigaming organisations approached TEAM46 with different offers. Team46 decided to continue under EYE sports, an organization which encompasses FIFA, Starcraft:Broodwar, and Counter-strike 1.6 (formerly Begrip) squads (its 1.6 squad won Russian ESWC qualifiers).

Statement from team captain Denis "DiadLos" Komarov:

We are really honored to join EYE sports. I am sure that we will get enough support and we are looking forward to prove ourselves in the upcoming competitions

Statement from EYE sports manager, Andrei Chirkov:

We decided to add more disciplines to participate in National Professional Cybersports League (NPCL). In Counter-Strike: Source we’ve chosen TEAM46, one of the most successful and stable Russian source teams. We will give these guys our full support so they can develop both professionally and personally. I am sure that together we will be able achieve new heights in e-sports
