ESL have announced that the EPS, or ESL Pro Series, is coming to the UK, bringing with it £30,000 in prizes.
The two big tournaments for this year are Counter-Strike: Source and Call of Duty 4, both of which will allow 12 top teams to take part.
The first prize for each tournament will be £5,000, equalling the current record for an online prize in Europe, and a total prize fund of £15,000 per game has been promised.
With its own ESL Pro Series, eSports in the United Kingdom will be brought to the next level. The best teams in Counter-Strike: Source and Call of Duty 4 will compete against each other for an unbelievable 30,000 pounds of prize money! Who will win the first title in the ESL Pro Series? The cream of the crop will compete in this league and show their skills to fans in the UK and all over Europe.
