In a thrilling comeback Reason Gaming snatched victory from the jaws of defeat against xone.
xone started Counter-Terrorist side, winning the pistol round and the following two. Reason then clinched the next two rounds but xone would go on to dominate the rest of the half. Closing it out 12-3.
Cadred caught up with Craig Farley, of xone, after the game for his thoughts.
That was probably one of the most thrilling games I've ever played. I never thought we'd get that close to reason, especially on nuke. I think we lost mainly due to inexperience, as we're still just a complete mix. Lots of close rounds that we should have won to finish off the game. We lost a 2v1 with PhP on 15 health. It was unlucky.
Ace was man of the match in my eyes.
xone will go onto face GIAL in the lower bracket, GIAL having lost to fm! Toxic.
Farley explained his thoughts on the upcoming match.
If I'm honest I've never heard of them, I don't know who they are. I don't really know what to expect. I think we can beat them considering their previous score against Toxic. We're on a high now because it was a good game against reason. No one expected us to get near to them and we did.
