PCGS: Mint take down Toxic
@ PC Gamer Showdown - CS:S channel

In another thrilling game London Mint narrowly defeated fm! Toxic in an intense match going into overtime.

The game was a huge grudge match battle, with much history between the teams. i34 had a hugely close match between them and many were expecting the same, they were not left dissapointed.

The final score ended up 19-16 to Mint.

We spoke to George "HudzG" Hoskins for his thougts.
Going into the game, we were very confident as we're two wins no losses against them in the past, especially on inferno. However things didn't start too well on ct side, we won the knives then lost the pistol straight away after getting two picks. After taking the first gun round our confidence exploded and we won nine straight on the trot. They then made a comeback which could have been the deciding factor in the game.

Going onto Terrorist side we knew we needed to start strong, needing six for the win was a tough challenge. We lost the pistol and the next two which didn't help at all. Our game got read completely by Toxic and we failed to adapt. After going 9-4 down we managed to get two straight with good calls from Tom. That was the deciding factor of the game being able to pull it back.

In overtime we upped our game in the first round. Overall it was a good game and I hope they continue to play.
We then asked George about the rivalry and "banter" between the two teams and what he thinks of it, considering he used to be a member of the team before he joined Mint.
I think it's all fun and games until one person takes it a step too far and then it all starts to get a bit personal. I think it's good for the spectators but I also feel it can bring a bad image over the two teams and the way top teams behave. All in all it's all good fun and we're all good friends outside the game....
