PCGS: Salvo "really confident"
@ PC Gamer Showdown - CS:S channel

PT and mangiacapra aim_mapping in warm-up before the final

Shortly before the grand final here at the PC Gamer Showdown, and perhaps more importantly, shortly after he woke up, Cadred spoke to James "wilzOOO" Wilson about how he feels going into the final.

Hey James, how’s it going?
Well the whole team’s been struck down with flu, and I hardly got any sleep last night. But hopefully I’m about to win a thousand pounds so I’m happy!

Join the club. You’ve already beaten the two teams seeded higher than you this event, Mint and Reason, in your last two games, I guess adding that to your recent form you’re pretty confident?
Yeah we’re really confident, especially on the stage PCs. We weren’t very confident going into the event, but now we are. Well, we knew we could win, but we thought it would be tougher than it has been.

You beat Reason 16-10 on inferno in the upper bracket final, will you be hoping to get this map again in the final? How will you feel if they can pick train or nuke, one of the non-CGS maps?
Obviously on our day I believe that we’re one of the best teams in the world on the CGS maps, so not playing one of them would be a blow. But we’d have to deal with it. I’d feel extremely confident if we got them on train.

Looking past the final, so far you’ve come to each non-CGS event with little or no team practise, and your results so far have clearly backed up your confidence – how far the line do you see yourselves needing to start putting in the hours of training, or do you just feel that’s not worth it for smaller events, while you’re in the CGS?
We take every event seriously, and the reason for not practising so much is simply because we had so much practise in LA. The 5 week bootcamp was invaluable. If we lost this final it would be a wake-up call for us, but would be a great credit to them, they really deserve it if they can beat us on two maps.

Why has wez dyed his hair????
Him and a load of his mates did it as well!

Is marc the laziest person you’ve ever met?
Without a doubt, no doubt in my mind, that man is the laziest person I’ve ever met. But we love him. We absolutely love him.
