ED Offer Ladder Rewards
@ Scene news channel

Enemydown has announced a £250 prize every month for the top 16 teams in their Counter-Strike: Source Ladder.

Traditionally played for fun and practice, the ladder is one of the biggest draws for teams at the middle level of the competetive scene. Now the 16 highest placed active teams every month will be entered into a one night cup where the winner takes home £250 cash.

The first cup will be held at the end of October with activity being measured from today.

Cadred spoke to Enemydown Admin Ben "Bub" Wood for more information;
It's been said for a long time that there is no point in spending time playing in the ED Ladder if you're a mid-high team. By awarding £250 to the winner of these playoffs we're hoping to give teams a target to aim for and to increase activity in the usually plagued area of the ladder (Top 10).

We have guaranteed £250 per month for a minimum of 4 months which should give many teams the time required to get into the top 16 if they want a crack at this. The very best CSS teams probably wont join the ED ladders for this but that doesn't matter too much really, this prize is more about rewarding those teams that are active and contribute to ED by playing in our ladders.
