Week 3 has started, and here are all the matches to come as well as a constantly updated version of the group standings and a bit of text about the groups.
There look to be some interesting games this week. There is a UK fight off, with Reason-Gaming taking on Sypher, as well as a few big matches in Group B to see who takes the top spot after 3 games. The matches this week will all take place on CityStreets, a map not played that much in the league matches and mixes, but one of the big maps in terms of the big competitions. Who will win these matches? Stay tuned to the rest of this article to get the updates.

Pre Match Week: With Serious Gaming pulling out of the competition, there are only 2 matches this week. Team Logitech have the week off, but we will see a big match, Reason-Gaming vs Sypher. This will also give Sypher a chance to play their 2nd game, as their first loss against Serious-Gaming has been wiped off after Srs quit. Reason will also have the chance to show their true potential, after a Connection Problem riddled first match against CrackClan. CrackClan also have the chance to extend their lead if they can beat zeroHero.
Post Games: Reason-Gaming took their first win of the EC, beating fellow UK side Sypher in a reasonably convincing fashion. Funnyman aka kAMMYz had a stormer, taking 22 frags, and really dominating. Reason should now easily be able to get through their group. The final match of the group took place and saw a convincing win for CrackClan, as they are now clear at the top of the group. zeroHero are pretty much now out of the EC with zero points after 3 games. They will need a miracle to get through. The other spots though are all still up for grabs, though CrackClan definitely do look like favourites to win the group.

Pre Match Week: KomaCrew are going to be facing current #2 in the group We were immortal (ex Necroraisers). This will be a big game with two good teams facing up against each other. oXmoze may be able to move up the table a lot too, if they can beat Button-Bashers. But as the group is so evenly balanced, we could expect this week to be a crunch week. It could see the seperation of the top teams from the middle teams. If we see some upsets, then this might be past the point of no return, especially for Copenhagen-eSports, who have to win their next game if they want to stand any chance of qualifying through the group.
Post Games: The first match of the group was Copenhagen-eSports against UF Gaming. In another very close game, they came away with a 12-12 draw, moving UF Gaming slightly up the group. However, 2 clans will be most likely to take a bit of a lead in the group after the rest of the games in the group.

Pre Match Week: Could we actually see Megazords start playing? I hope so, as we all know they have the potential to storm the rest of the group stages and top the group (2nd at worst realistically if they start playing that is!). If they do, B'BUDDIES probably don't stand much of a chance. Speed-Link should also be able to see of Spanish side Wizzards and extend their lead at the top of the table.
Post Games: The first game that was meant to be Megazords vs B'Buddies never happened, with both teams No Showing. The admins took the decision to remove both teams from the cup. This left the group in a bit of a problem, with now only 4 teams left in the group. The team that lost out from this was definitely Speed-Link, who had played both of these teams and have now had their position in the group wiped down to 0 points. They should be able to regain that top spot, but it will come as a bit of an annoyance to the German players. Megazords, or as we should probably now call them Dignitas Mix, did disappoint, by coming into this tournament and not actually playing a single game. We all knew they had the potential to go on and win it, but obviously the EuroCup is not that important to them this year, which is understandable looking at some of the tournaments they are in.
The rest of the games in the group will be played later in the week.

Pre Match Week: Both eSuba and xthothed will be looking to take wins from this Week and extend their points out even more to try make that playoff position more likely. Team Infused will also be looking to secure their 1st win of the tournament, and see if they can recover after a bad start. They face Italian side Team Impact. UPDATE: with Infused leaving the cup, it has changed the whole group again. eSuba have now dropped right down and VAE are in the same boat. This definitely makes it a harder job for eSuba to get back up to their spot. They will need to beat PGS first.
Post Games: In a shock match, PGS went against the cBooky odds (60-40) to take eSuba down and go to #1 in the group for now. VAE have also beaten xthothed, making the group even clsoer than it originally was! This is going to be an interesting last few matches.
