In yet another of our now regular, and very popular, series of "YOU ask" articles, we gave Cadred readers the chance to throw their questions at Luke “KritikaL” Green, who currently plays for FM! Toxic.
Do you feel your general behaviour and attitude has any impact on your chances of being drafted by a CGS GM, if so do you care, do you have any hopes to be drafted? (Corin)
Yeah I think the way I act and my attitude definitely has a impact on the chances of being drafted, but I think the stronger part of the way I am would over look, the silly stuff I get myself involved in, and that is that I’m 110 percent dedicated and I put absolutely everything into just about everything I enjoy doing. To me winning is way more important than receiving a 1.2 grand cheque at the end of every month that doesn’t phase me one bit, I live a crazy lifestyle at uni 1.2 grand a month wouldn’t change it for me, so no I don’t care, I think Ben is a no go zone for me, clash of personalities completely, from the second I was part of a team who flamed his team, and then beat them and stole Intel off them, he was always going to hate me. I think ODEE can see past the silly things that I do, and I think he’s more of a believer that talent over personality as long as he isn’t racist ( that I am not ) or will go around punching people for jokes ( which I won’t ).
I think I have some hopes of being drafted, but I don’t focus on that, I play for my team and all I want to do is win. If I get asked to join a cgs team it'd still be very hard for me to say goodbye to the team I have at the moment cause they are top lads, and I believe we haven’t shown our full potential or anywhere close to it yet.
If you had the chance would you join up with your old team in Salvo? (GaZ)
It'd be harsh on my current team, but I don’t think anyone in their right mind would ever turn down to play in the best team in the world, let alone play with wilzOOO who is probably my longest standing online friend still playing. I think it’s a definite yes.
Which was your biggest win / draw in your esports history? (GaZ)
Hmmm, I think for getting recognised and well known the draw vs. SK was mental, We came pretty much out of nowhere beating TAG @ i18 13-3 and then 2 weeks later drawing vs. best team in the world, It really sticks out in my mind cause we had no real experience within the team, we was on a stage in front of 100-150 people, with something like 1-2 thousand people listening to it being shoutcasted, not to mention it all being filmed in game. For the people who was there, they will tell u how epic the moment was when I went onto irc on the stage (everyone saw my auth :( ) and saw about 50 PMS just go DING DING DING on my irc, and crash the irc client. Got me into Team-UK and a lot of respect that game, pretty memorable.
You gave up playing in the best pve guild in sunwell to go back to finishing 9-12th at various competitions do you regret this in anyway? (GaZ)
WoW PVE, I spent about 2 months doing it and if I had spent another 2 months doing it I probably would have shot myself.
I've met you and found you to be a top bloke, yet a lot of people seem to label you as some kind of "difficult personality" putting it mildly... How much of what you do is part of a cultivated persona and how much is the real Luke Green? (Dr. Gonzo)
People nice to me, they get treated nice back, people being dicks to me, get treated like a dick back. Like I’ve spoken to goodeh on a few occasions I’m sure he wouldn’t say anything bad to me, but when he put the camera in my face, which I saw as provoking after we lost to ZEN I flipped, because I thought he was being a dick to me.
People don’t seem to see what happens to me in the first place, or that I should be better mannered than some of the people that speak to me in the way they do, just because I’m good or well known within the game. If someone calls me a tit I’m not going to say anything I prefer to laugh at it and wind it on a bit, maybe a bit immature but I enjoy it. It lets me release some stress and gets me through life I guess :D. All in all it definitely is the real me, I don’t put on acts for anyone, When u meet me in real life that’s how I’ll be online, I’m the same with my friends in real life I’m same with my house mates, I’m the same with my parents. Seem to be doing ok so far so why change?
Why do you beat most teams but lose to the team you want to beat every time - mint? (nutsey)
We had a chat about this in the team after actually, I think it’s because we have probably 3 players within our team who are fighting for a spot in mint if one opens. So a little bit of ramboing happens (1 man army baiting) it’s inevitable of course. Another reason obviously is cause they are the NEXT step to us... it’s like all the pressure builds up to us for that one game, and it doesn’t help at all. Next tournament we isn’t even gonna think about mint, personally I believe by i35 we`ll be a stronger team than we were at pcgamer, we will have the sleep we need and the preparation we need to win the whole tournament, not just beat mint.
We are aiming higher than just 2nd best in the UK, 2nd best in Europe is what we are looking for.
How much depth do you think there is in CSS compared to 1.6? (felix)
The main thing with the change from 1.6 to source is movement. In 1.6 your movement really wasn’t key to the player you were, positioning was key in 1.6, the way you move in source is key. I think the depth is about the same in the games tbh, but I think aim is way more needed in source than 1.6, you can be total crap at aiming in 1.6 and get kills by crawling around corners. That isn’t the case in source, it’s all about the way you move around the map and how fast your reactions/aim is.
I also think team work isn’t needed as much in source, just because 3 man sprays due to good movement and aim is much more a reality than in 1.6, best you could do vs. good teams in 1.6 was sit in a position and make 2 kills without getting drilled through a wall or faced.
Do you think your outspoken attitude has negatively affected your draftability? (felix)
Maybe, I believe it’d give an awesome aspect to the CGS, at the moment it can be seen as a bit bland and a bit scripted. Dunno that might just be me. It feels like I’m watching "switched" and if anyone’s watching it’s like kids reading off a screen "YeS ThE Game WaS ReALly GreAt We LOSt THoUGH BetTEr LUck NExt TIme HEy?! :D" when really I feel should be a bit more grimey, bit more realistic, competitive to say the least.
I don’t think my attitude has a negative effect on the way the team plays, no chance. I believe I’m an excellent motivator, so if I’m a good player + good motivator + can handle the pressure + adds a bit of a different edge on the TV why not draft me? Everyone loves a bad guy, maybe I’m the CGS version of that guy :D
You've had some shaky performances at LAN recently, despite your arm being fully recovered. Why do you think this is? (felix)
I have? I’d say the only bad performance for me @ LAN was vs. MINT, I played excellent vs. GIAL excellent vs. Reason. I think the MINT game was just one too many in the day, you gotta remember that, we didn’t have the luxury of a hotel on Friday night before, we all drove from my house to pcgamer @ 7 in the morning to be there for 9 o clock to setup and be ready for 10 o clock like the admins DEMANDED.
We also got told that we wouldn’t be playing more than 4 games on the Saturday and the rest of the games would be played on the SUNDAY so we weren’t too bothered about getting that much sleep on the Friday, so we could all sort our sleeping patterns out and get a good night sleep on the Saturday. We didn’t start playing MINT till like 8 o clock I think? So we had all been up like 12-13 hours after getting 3-4 hours sleep before hand it was pretty harsh experience. I think that was just my time to have a bad game not much I can do about it really. One thing people know about me is that I don’t make the same mistakes twice, it won’t happen again.
Some people have narrowed their beady little eyes and wagged their disapproving finger in your general direction while muttering nonsensical comments about your repeated use of a "scapegoat" in the past, the most recent example being Hamza 'X' Mahmood at i34. Do you feel your reputation as someone who shifts the blame for poor performances on to other people to be warranted, and if you perform below expectations at i35 will release get the blame? (ViniH)
I don’t get where people have said I’ve done this before, cause I haven’t. X was just in my eyes a huge error of player. I came on vent the other 3 players told me to play with him, so I trusted them and I did. For once in my life I wasn’t as outspoken as I maybe should have been cause after the 2nd pcw with him I could see flaws and BIG errors that were just in my eyes not fixable in the time frame we had. But I kept my mouth shut and carried on playing, the whole tournament he didn’t play well he had no input into the team, I don’t think I heard him speak ingame once the whole event, now lets just for one minute compare him to Release at pcgamer.
Dan turns up @ my house Friday night he’s 15 yrs old we have a curry and he’s just chatting to us like he’s known us for 6 months, he’s friendly, we like him, he likes us (I hope). In game it doesn’t take him long to impress us, he’s talking he’s shouting he’s making sure people know he’s there and making the kills and doing what he’s meant to be doing, that just didn’t happen with X I’m afraid, SOME people like the pressure of being in a new team and being with people you don’t know and some people can cope with it. I just think X didn't have a chance with us from the off, automatically I had problems with the style of play and others did too. That isn’t what you want from a player you’re playing with at a tournament.
Would you stop being as most people apart from I'm sure your close friends and team mates, "A c**t" if changing yourself meant becoming drafted? (jagg)
I’d never change the way I am, I’m always going to THINK the same that’s never going to change, I don’t think id change to BECOME drafted, id probably change prior to being drafted because I understand the importance of the professional image to some extent within an organisation like that, I know certain things are allowed and some aint. Personally I don’t think I do THAT much now that I wouldn’t be able to do within the CGS, maybe not comment on cadred soo much, that wouldn’t be hard haha :D, and I’d have to be polite to people who ask me questions on the individual cgs websites, I do that anyways on fragmasters forums.
I’m also polite when people speak to me on irc, when people speak to me in real life I’m fine, as I mentioned before it’s literally when someone is a dick to me I’m just gonna be a dick back. 2 wrongs don’t make a right, but I enjoy the aspect that people are willing to sit there and try and prove themselves better than me over an argument in irc, I find it literally hilarious, I also love seeing the reactions when u meet them @ lans and stuff, fascinates me.
You have come so close to beating mint, do you think your banter makes you and your team lose focus, and play worse, which results in rounds lost you shouldn't have? (darkula)
The banter in the first game @ i34 definitely didn’t effect the way we played I think that really got us some confidence we just had some huge mess ups on ct train. The match on inferno we needed 2 of the last 3 rounds as CT and I went MENTAL like I don’t even know what happened cause I was soo tired called them shit or something, and then we sorta crumbled a bit so I dunno if that effected us maybe it did, never really know will we. To some extent we all kinda do it on vent, I think what I said is usually the feelings of people within the team anyway hahaha, it’s just a tool I use to annoy the other team, I never mean any of it.
It’s 20 times harder to play when you're annoyed, and when you’re annoyed and losing it’s a sinking feeling that just crushes every bit of confidence your body has, and without confidence you can’t play counterstrike I’m afraid. Personally I feel we should have won all 3 games lol, the train game we played probably one of the WORST t halves EVER, and still came out with 6 rounds we lost some brutal rounds such as the 3 v 1 vs. ritch, that was down to my arm being broken and me and frank just not communicating really. The overtime on inferno we didn’t lose a round @ b the whole game and then lost 2 in overtime as ct out of 3....... Just mental, I think all of them last 6-7 rounds went down to 1 on 1s and we just couldn’t collect.
The contra game well... yeah we make some brutal TK in the 2nd to last round which lost us that round I think, then I lose probably the most ridiculous 1 on 1 I’ve ever been involved in to win the game... I think if I had played the map about 10 times more I probably still would have done the same thing and on LAN the glock would have probs regged and killed him. Not to mention the CT pistol round on contra getting 5 manned... NEVER gonna help the way u start a map is it... but yeah bad circumstances for all of them just takes one day where shits going right for us and I’m feeling a 16-7 destroying.
In every I series you seem to always have to play mint, and only on the CGS combine you had to play salvo. Do you think you would do better against salvo on LAN? (darkula)
Yeah I think we would play better vs. salvo because I think it’s less anger and competition, and more like friendly competition towards salvo so it wouldn’t mean so much of a loss, not as much is at stake for us vs. salvo, whereas vs. mint it’s kinda like our pride getting sucked out of us. Cause we all believe to be a better team than them deep down, the fact we’ve lost 3 times to them doesn’t really justify how good we really are I think. I very rarely miss judge a team to be better than another, and I can honestly player for player say that I feel we’re a better team than mint; we just need the right day to show that.
Any 4 players you could choose in Europe/UK you would want in your css team. (darkula)
Tough one really, id probs say rattlesnk, wez, pete and wilz just cause of last year over summer and going Sweden / France was an epic journey and I’ve known wez for a hell of a long time and I always enjoy his company even though he’s a very angry little boy. My 4 in my team aint far behind them though we’ve been through a lot and I’m sure were going to be going through a lot more happier times I hope though! :D
In your opinion the top 3 most overrated European/UK players. (darkula)
Url by far. He can’t awp, no game sense, the only reason he’s in that team is cause everyone thinks he’s nice cause he’s always smiling and he bum licks anyone who’s in a better position than he is.
I don’t think there are any overrated players apart from him really everyone else gets flamed to fuck hahahaha
After playing 1.6 for such a long time then making the transition to CSS, how easy did you find it to adapt to the different style of play generally of the game, and how different does the flow in a CSS game differ to a 1.6 game at a higher level? (Starkey)
Kinda strange for me to switch, I was always a game reading sort of player I liked to know exactly what was going on in my team and then work out where they might be going and out brain my opponent more, in source it’s a lot more crazy, stuff happens a lot faster people aren’t so predictable and there’s a lot I don’t know still about this game, the flow is definitely more biased towards individuals doing their jobs and making their kills more than in 1.6, in 1.6 u can crawl round with 2 people and make a kill fall back regroup do it again flash people in and so on, source is more like FLASHES EVERYWHERE LETS RUN IN HOPE EVERYONE MAKES KILLS!
I like it tbh, I was always an offensive player in 1.6 I liked getting stuck in being first in, so I think source is a good move for me, I need some tweaking on movement and to learn a few more tricks I’m sure I’ll have mastered it by end of the year ;D
If CGS had picked up 1.6 would you have stayed playing with Dignitas and do you think you could have made a similar impact to the current Birmingham Salvo team only on the 1.6 platform? (Starkey)
Well the reason why I quit CS wasn’t cause of the move to source, it was because I wanted to go to uni and enjoy the first year to the point where I didn’t have something holding me back so I couldn’t go out on certain nights, like I said before I like doing things 110 percent I don’t like half assed attempts. If I’m doing something I’ll do it properly, or I won’t do it.
I think we were going somewhere in 1.6 though definitely whether we could get to the 1st in the world I have no idea, it would have taken a lot of money and backing because we would have needed a lot more of Sweden bootcamps, I’m not sure we would have received that after ESWC and gamegune, I think what we achieved was pretty damn special though I think if we had maybe been given the opportunity 3-4 years prior, instead of 4kings hogging the money and giving it to the same 2-3 English people and rotating foreigners in then yeah we could have got a lot higher, but that’s not how it rolled ;D
Looking at the 1.6 scene in general, do you ever consider returning to 1.6 to play in more of the global events such as Kode5, ESWC and WCG? (Starkey)
I made more money @ the cgs combine this year than I have at any other 1.6 tournament I made that after 5 weeks of playing the game, yeah the tournaments in 1.6 are epic as hell ESWC was amazing, but there’s a LOT to do to get to the level of mYm / fnatic in 1.6 and a lot more money would have to be pumped into it. You couldn’t just get off with 2-3 weeks pracc in a bootcamp to get to their stage it'd be a year of really going mental till you got to that level, I think with source you can have good days bad days when you get to that near top level anyone who keeps their nerve can win on the day.
Are you satisfied with 9-12th? (keylikesfood)
At eswc yeah definitely look @ the teams above us, all getting paid to play, look at the teams just behind us all getting paid to play, pentagram fnatic mibr virtus pro TR MYM all bootcamped for 6-7 WEEKS prior to that event, and all have a lot of experience at huge tournaments, we played 4 days in a net cafe in Sweden, played pentagram on 3 maps played mym on 3 maps a day and the odd map vs. someone else and we came 9th @ our first ever tournament. I’d say that’s pretty incredible. The only experience we had in our team was me @ eswc 2004 who went out in group stage, and Mx who lost to Australians @ kode5.... :D
If you don't get drafted in the next draft, are you going to stay with css, if so do you intend on a roster shuffle? (suicideskittles)
Well if any people get chosen into the 2 cgs teams they are going to be from personnel in our team, so a roster shuffle will be needed I reckon, but I’m definitely going to be playing css, I play for fun and to win I don’t play cause I’m not the best or I’m not getting paid, I play for the challenge and cause I enjoy playing with who I play with.
Realistically where do your team think they can place at i35, and do you think you can finally beat MiNT and help beta stop crying himself to sleep at night? (Fierce)
We can definitely beat mint no doubt in my mind, just a slight cockblock atm it`ll be crushed soon, I think top 3 @ i35 is a realistic, we came 4th @ pcgamer why not go for 3rd @ i35. That’s my opinion I don’t know where the rest of my team think we`ll finish hopefully they’re hoping 1st :D
Do you think that your team is top10 in Europe? And give me a list of top3 players in Europe (bsl style) (rod-)
Yeah our team is deffo in the top10 in Europe. Top 3 players, I’d say rattlesnk and wez and Pete are probably the best 3 players in Europe right now, you just know playing with them 3 one of them will do something mental u get yourself into a retarded 4 v 1 situation and you’ve got one of them 3 players alive, who’s gonna sit there and say "he’s definitely lost" with them 3 there’s always a chance something mental gonna happen and they win the round.
Imagine tomorrow is the combine and you were bsl. Who would you draft for your css team and why? (satn1ss)
if I couldn’t pick myself, Rattlesnk Wez WilzOOO Pete Hughsey just cause I think Lewis probably is one of the best players I think sometimes he loses some confidence I feel if he played in the best team in the world and had that confidence everywhere and all the time, he’d really show his worth.
If I could pick myself, rattlesnk wez wilzoOO pete me, it'd be heroic hahahah it’s the old Dignitas team the one we wanted before wez went away, the ultimate team to take down the world.
For such a big and outspoken personality you’re actually shit at css, what makes you keep being so damn arrogant in and out of game? Some say you’re the only person holding your team back from constantly getting wins over the likes of MiNT; do you spend extra time on the game when your team is not playing to up your individual skill level? If not, then why? (HaLFPiNT)
Confidence is shown through my arrogance, anyone who says I’m a bad player is either 1) jealous 2) clueless.
If people knew what happened behind the scenes in a team I’m in, how I keep people playing with each other keep people motivated and working together and on the same wave length then they would understand 99 percent of players won’t ever have that opportunity and that’s their loss, not mine. There is NO CHANCE in hell that I am the one holding any team back, I may have a bad game every so often, but that’s how it goes in counterstrike I’m afraid, u feel tired u feel a little bit sick at an event, something happens in a round and puts u down, or u just generally get unlucky in a game, it can happen.
The game vs. mint @ pcgamer I remember running out top left of mid and out of 4 of us running out and being the 3rd in, I got shot with an awp... shit like that when you’re @ 0-4 really puts u off your game especially in such a big game after sleeping 3 hours and being awake for 13 hours. I put in as much time as I think is viable for each tournament, I practise on deathmatch just as much as anyone else, and I believe playing mixes can really turn u into a 1 man army clueless downs. It makes u play for yourself not with your team and that gets people playing in bad habits, it also stresses u out I find so I don’t play them as much, and as a team we all play together the same amount duh.
If you joined SALVO.css and had to replace one player who would it be and why? (retr0)
Marc’s sound as hell to me, but it’d have to be marc, just cause some part in me still says that position in the team kinda I earned it in some respect cause of all the effort I put in building that team and the stuff I went through the sacrifices I made last year, and then I quit cause of mitigating circumstances and he just cruises in and gets drafted into the best team into the world, and instantly on a wage. I spent a lot of money last year on various different things which I didn’t get paid back, I had no reason to get paid back, but still its blood sweat and tears that I put into it.
You were extremely angry when you found out wilz000 was hacking in c4u, do you still have any issues with this or has it just been eradicated from your mind as it was 4 years ago? (retr0)
The thing is Will cheated cause we knew hartman was cheating, hartman on ct on nuke dropped 0-12 against us... and then dropped off server reconnected and dropped 29-2 or something @ the big site on cbble with some of the most ridiculous through the wall headshot with awp it was just outrageous, we knew it was coming as well so Will put cheat on @ half time too and just mirrored it.. Standard that the demos can’t be found and that 4kings.INTEL didn’t get found out cause the admins @ clanbase too scared to do anything.
When you see the 'haters' in general and the negative comments (such as in this thread), does it ever de-motivate you, or tell you if you want your paramount esports dream of being drafted you need to tame yourself down (Like the Ritch scenario)? (retr0)
There is no way that anyone on cadred is ever going to affect the way I feel about ANYTHING haha, I am a very headstrong sort of person, people can say what they want to me and it`ll go through me without me even flinching. The more it happens the funnier it gets, if u ever read back to ukt some of the comments I saw before we beat tag and drew vs. SK I used to get flamed RIDICULOUSLY way worse than anyone could ever do on cadred without getting banned, and that’s what drove me to proving people wrong, and when someone like me has the drive to do something with the competitiveness that I have, it generally ends up in them achieving what they want.
I have never failed at anything I have wanted to do in life, I'm not gonna start now with some computer game. I’m never gonna tame the way I think down, just against my principles. I believe in what I believe in for a reason, it’s why I am who I am its why I got aabc in my a levels, it’s why I was successful youth football player and it’s why I’m a top flight counterstrike player.
Do you ever feel that CGS will and should have a place for a personality like you with your controversial banter, and will it better eSports reputation making it more real with the trash talk or do you think it would have a negative affect? (retr0)
Good question, I’m 500 percent sure that anyone like me on TV is going to give a different side to something which atm can be seen as bland, every show has a bad guy or someone they don’t like, it’s just normal. Gladiators they have WOLF, or OBLIVION now. To me gladiators is like CGS watching it on TV it’s the kinda same setup if that makes any sense, I don’t know if anyone else can see the similarities there but I can.
There’s always controversy every sport has it, why the hell shouldn’t CGS? Are they going to script everything apart from the results and are the players going to be always under this impression they have to keep a good image and everything has to always go to plan? Sounds a tad boring to me, I wanna see some action some kids saying how they feel, where’s the passion where’s the competitive edge?
Why does everyone use 9th-12th ESWC as banter when in reality 9th-12th ESWC is probably one of the highest placements in ESWC anyone from the EU Source scene can use? (Noddy)
Mentioned before, jealousy I don't think people realise exactly what we did there lol :S or exactly what the ins and outs of the teams who achieve that sort of level in 1.6 have to do.... crazy the fact that they will never ever be the #1 team in the UK, and that being #1 in UK is compulsory to even get into ESWC and they can’t even show some respect for that is just laughable. Jealousy is the only way to explain that I’m afraid :D
Do you believe when you play Mint you perform? As in my opinion it is your performance (from the games I have seen) that allows Mint to gain that early Momentum where as when you start making those Entry picks and picking 2 or 3 up on Mints pushes your team seem to start the rounds rolling even when you don't frag in a round. Is this because the pre-game banter takes your mind too far away from the game? Or is it because it takes 10 rounds for Mint to stop giving a shit and ease off? (Noddy)
I think that’s how it goes with every team who is the underdog I’m afraid, it always takes a while for the underdog to settle in any game, it’s very rare that u ever see the underdog go out mental and just destroy a team, it can happen yeah but it’s unlikely. When we beat 4kings @ ESWC UK quals last year we lost the first map on inferno, and then won the other 2. It’s always harder for the underdog but that’s why I enjoy it :D, it isn’t a challenge if you’re the best in the world and you’re just keeping your title, that to me is so much easier than climbing the ladder and that feeling when u hit the top has to be the best feeling ever surely? Not keeping it for the 2nd or 3rd time.
Why do you think most top UK players act like twelve year old kids who think that they can say whatever they want to whoever they want? I mean, see yourself being in a position where you were in charge of a franchise or a big gaming brand - would you really hire people acting unprofessional? You will probably try to push this away on "players being really into the game and showing their passion" - but why does passion have to be screaming shit to the opponents? Can’t it be in the form of positive stuff to your teammates? (warclown)
Why do cricket players, give banter in game? Why do football players trash talk every player they square up to, I mean c’mon... it’s just trying to get every bit of advantage over your opponent. Its passion because it shows you`ll do anything to win, and passion is shown in various different ways, the love you show towards your team mates to spur them on and make them play good, and also the way u treat your opponent and the way you play, I’m sorry but you find ONE player in the world who is more passionate than me and id give u a cookie :D, I constantly say positive stuff to my team mates, that’s one aspect to what I do but I also add everything else because that’s who I am and what I believe in. If the opponent doesn’t do it back then that’s their loss... it doesn’t make them a better or worse person in my opinion I used to get shit all the time playing football people calling me shit or whatever mid game, what happens at the end of every game? Shake hands go and have a drink in the bar @ the club house after...
To me the unsportsmen like people are the people who take it to heart and think it’s a bad thing to do, cause they are the ones who will take it outside the game and start hating people and doing stuff behind their back.
If I was a GM id personally try and find 5 people like me, 5 people with the drive I have and the passion would be unstoppable. I think the problem 99 percent of source clans is that they can’t get everyone playing the same amount and putting the same amount of dedication and WANTING it the same amount.
UK players have always been like this, it’s the way we are brought up, we are always told to speak our minds. I don’t know what else maybe language barrier? Not sure.
Will you be at next CGS combine whether or not you expect to be drafted? (KEMi)
I’ll be at the next draft, I don’t think I can ever expect anyone to draft me, that’d just be wrong, I think I’ve got a chance but it all depends on so many different factors and its usually predictable 4-5 weeks before hand so I’ll tell u whether I reckon I’m getting drafted 4-5 weeks before, currently I definitely don’t expect to get drafted and I don’t think I will be getting drafted :D
You seem to have basically eliminated your draft eligibility to Salvo with your behaviour towards Mint. Don’t you think that was a retarded move?
No? Winning to me is more important than getting 1.2k a month to play a computer game, in 2 years time I’ll be earning in excess of 50 k a year towards my career money means nothing to me, I play computer game as a hobby and because I enjoy the competitiveness, the banter is part of that competitiveness. If I didn’t have an arch rival or a team that I NEEDED to beat to progress the game would really lose a lot of its appeal, and to be finally crowned the best player in the world would REALLY REALLY lose appeal to me, I think with cgs that can get taken out of your hands as well which might lose some competitiveness, the fact you have a lot of people in the team some of which are playing different games, its kinda out of your hands to be ranked the best in the world, it all depends on whether u get picked into a good franchise and the rest of your fifa / doa players are good or not. It would frustrate me for sure.
Thanks for your time Luke.
