Team VeryGames have come out victorious in a single map against German team mTw.

As if the title and the money were not enough of an incentive for mTw, they were going up against the very team who knocked them down into the lower bracket, only hours before, in a game that needed double overtime to decide.

The final was not to disappoint, as mTw managed once again to push the French squad to overtime, only to lose 4-0 in the first overtime, leaving the MaxLAN title in it's home country.

It has been a successful year for French teams, with a victory over Fnatic to win Digitalsace (webone), a second place at Lan79 (an H2k team that now spans H2k, VeryGames and Crack clan), third place at i34 (emuLate, now VeryGames), a win at The Experience.dk (Epsilon, now Crack Clan), and now a victory on home soil here in Epinal.
