At 2AM on the Sunday night at i35 myself, Iain and A_spec had a brainwave. Mix?

The resulting game, played live on the main stage, saw a crowd of over one hundred sleepy gamers wondering who on earth was better than Birmingham Salvo flock to the seats. To assist them in the viewing spectacle was Dogbert from Dignitas (with a Sombrero) as well as A_spec who was shoutcasting while playing. I (Goodeh) was of course the top fragger on both halves, but despite my valiant efforts we lost the match to our very serious playing opponents, shit Brick.

I sat out the second map, making way for Morg of Dignitas, Chef of TLR and Wizzo of Multiplay. This really did bring out the crowds and we officially had more spectators watching a 3AM mix than the Crysis, Battlefield 2 and Team Fortress 2 finals combined.

Perhaps best of all the alcohol induced fun was all filmed, and I’ve been assured will be uploaded as a video on demand ASAP. Until then, enjoy the photos.
