eSuba merge with nEophyte
@ Scene news channel

The Czech power houses eSuba and nEophyte have merged together to form one strong lineup.

After MaxLan, where nEophyte borrowed Mazarini, one of the most well known players in the CoD scene, eSuba have decided to make some changes. 3 of the eSuba players had also gone inactive. This left a space, and the 2 remaining eSuba players have brought in 3 of the nEophyte players and will continue to play under the eSuba brand name.

As Mazarini had already played with nEophyte at MaxLan this was a perfect chance to work with these players in a new and stronger lineup. The 3 inactive eSuba players were removed, and Nio was kept. This left space for the 3 players from nEophyte.

The New Lineup

Nikolaj "Mazarini" Lazarev
Tomáš "NiO" Janšta
Jan "parado0x!" Duchon
Michal "beaster" Stránský
Petr "_king" Elbogen

I spoke to Mazarini to get his view on this new lineup:

Mazarini: In the last two months we had problems with activity, because of work/school and lucker played CoD2 too much. We played like 1 match per week, then decided to start playing again because of lan in italy, it was like 3 weeks back, but nothing happened. We were still inactive, then cross announced he can't attend lan because of his job, and so did lucker last Saturday because of school. We decided to make some lineup changes, cross and blx go inactive and lucker will play cod2 for fun I guess. So we asked neph players if they want to join and new lineup is here. You can see us in action on lan in italy next weekend.
eSuba are currently taking part in the EMS and the CB EuroCup. They are through to the playoffs of both of the tournaments, in the upperbracket of the EC and the LowerBracket of the EMS. They should be able to work their way further through these tournaments.

They are also going to be at GameLand this upcoming weekend, and stand a good chance of getting within the prize money. However they won't be present at CC5. We wish them the best of luck at GameLand and the rest of the online tournaments.
