With the groupstage having come to an end, the ESL Major Series Season 3 of Counter-Strike: Source moves on to the relegation play-offs.

After five weeks of exciting matches, the Counter-Strike: Source EMS, which is currently one of the most important online tournament for the European Source scene with €3,000 up for grabs, goes on to the play-offs for the teams who came second/third in the groupstage.

VeryGames, ROCCAT, RedLine and mTw.AMD are the teams who placed first in each of the four groups: they will advance directly to the finals, waiting for their opponents coming from the relegation play-offs.

In these play-offs, teams who finished second in the group stages will play a third-place team from another group: the winners of these matches will join the above-said teams in the final stage of the competition, while losers will be knocked out from the league definitively.
