The previous playoff matches were played a few months ago, but due to lack of players, holiday season and other duties coming in between, the teams have not been able to play the match before tonight.

On December 29th, dAyKiLLeR (ETF2L Head Admin) posted the following on the match page: Final Deadline for this Match: Thursday, 5th January 2009, 23:59 CET. If the match is not played by then, both teams will end this Season as 2nd and nobody will be crowned as Season 3 Winner.

Tonight's final is certainly going to attract many spectators and we are expecting to see a good fight between these two teams. If a map ended in a draw after normal match time, a Golden Cap overtime has to be played to decide the map winner.

The first team to take two maps wins the match and the season. This means that if both teams take one of the first maps, a decider map has to be chosen. TCM being "team1" on the system, can start first on eliminating maps. Line-ups for today's match

I sat down with TCM|Byte and asked him a couple of questions about tonight's match.

It's quite quickly in 2009, just after the holidays. Have you guys been training for this match? How do you warm-up tonight?

Yeah, we've been practising on and off during the Christmas holiday to keep our aim/team play warmed up we know ubersexuals are a quality side. It is very hard to play as the core team but we've managed roughly : > Tonight, we will play a lot of warm up games, talk strats over and I give the team a briefing of what to do, what to expect, what not to do, etc.

You're playing Badlands and Granary tonight, the most played and probably most well known maps currently in the game. How do you approach these maps every time again?

Well basic play is a standard thing these days, but if one player changes how he plays his class sometimes it affects the enemies drastically and makes em win : > Sometimes it will make his team lose though, so its a risky thing...
