The Danish team XLBet.GIAL has announced the departure of two of its players, krogh and vnG.

The CS:S team joined the organisation in August, with a six man rotating roster and salaries paid. The aim was to make themselves top 3 in Europe in six months, but they haven't really achieved important results so far.

After a 5/6th place at PC Gamer Showdown, their first event, in October they came 3rd at SLAP Lan #16, behind xoxo (now ROCCAT) and mTw. They achieved their most prestigious award coming 2nd at the DreamHack Winter, at the end of November, losing in the final against ROCCAT.

However, it seems that the performances are not the reason of the departure of Casper "krogh" Krogh and Dennis "vnG" Vang.

Marc "lokke" Halgreen, team leader, has in fact said to Sourcebasen.se:

I'm very sad to announce the departure of two of my best friends. After a not all too succesfull 2008, Casper 'krogh' Krogh and Dennis 'vnG' Vang have decided to quit active gaming. They would like to focus more on their private and social life, which we have great understanding for. Therefore, they have been released from their contracts and will no longer be part of XLBET.GIAL.

I would like to underline that they have not at all been kicked, but have both decided to stop. On behalf of the team and management, I wish them all the best of luck in whatever things they should pursue in the time coming.
