Both of the last two Lan79 events have received significant attention from the European CSS scene thanks to the calibre of the teams attending, and the 2009 sequel has now been announced.
The event will take place on the same weekend as last year, 2nd/3rd of May, and also in the same location, at the Bocapole complex in Bressuire.
As with previous years, the largest tournament will be Counter-Strike: Source, but for 2009 we will also see Counter-Strike 1.6 for females only, Call of Duty 4 and Trackmania.
While so far no other information has been released, Cadred can exclusively reveal that the prize fund for CSS will be a minimum of
€8,500, and could well be higher than that when it does get announced.
As always we'll be keeping you up-to-date with this event, but for now you'll just have to wait for more announcements.
