One of the most consistent top teams over the past 8 months, Reason Gaming, has today made a drastic roster shakeup

Cadred AWPer of the year Tomáš “WT” Herout and star rifler Karel “sneix” Pavlica have both left the team, breaking up one of the big core line-ups of the past few months, achieving second place finishes at PC Gamer Showdown, i35 and ICYBOX. The pair decided to create their own team with former teammate Daniel "STR" Ladra, ICE and a yet to be confirmed fifth.

The fifth was originally meant to be .PhP, but he turned down their offer to join them and elected to stick with pR and UN and rebuild the Reason Line-up.

Their two replacements will be Adam "bazy" Kaplar and Ladislav "Guardian" Kovacs, both have played with the team in both regular matches and Nationscups.

We will be bringing you further reactions from both teams and the management later tonight in a spotlight feature.

Marek ".PhP" Kadek shed the following light on the situation;

WT came to me saying, that he has been lacking motivation and he would like to play with his friends. He said he believes that playing with someone he knows very well from real life would allow him to make a much better team. He said that he wanted to build a new Reason team without pR and UN, and he asked me to go be in it. I didn't really want to, as I believe pR and UN has what it takes to be in top team. Reason then chose to support my new team, and since sneix and WT are best friends, they left the team.

I can't say I have hard feeling towards anyone of them. I'm just suprised it came so quickly, It was totally unexpected. We always had bad periods in Reason, ups and downs, like everyone else. But it's their decision, and I accept it...

I hope that they will perform well and same goes for us
