The Danish team ROCCAT have announced a change in the team: jIMMy leaves the team, frozt will replace him.
Just one month ago the Danish top team ROCCAT
announced a return after a short period of inactivity, and with the team Thomas 'inCre' Hector returned to play competitively in his former team, replacing FeTiSh.
However, today the team has officially announced another change in its lineup: Morten 'frozt' Pedersen joins the team to replace Jim 'jIMMy' Thorsen, who has decided to take a step back from gaming, in order to focus more on his real life.
Thomas 'inCre' Hector said:Today it is with both sorrow and happiness that we can announce lineup changes. First of all we want to thank Jim for the time in ROCCAT and all the great experiences we have gotten at events. The reason why Jim is no longer a part of ROCCAT is that he do not have the urge for CSS anymore, and therefore wanted to stop playing on this level and focus more on real life commitments.
Jim left an empty space in our team but the lineup is now complete. We have chosen to bring in the biggest Danish up-coming talent Morten 'frozt' Pedersen. We are very happy to announce that from this day and forth frozt will carry the ROCCAT tag with honour and hopefully help us achieve great results.
Before joining ROCCAT, Morten 'frozt' Pedersen had played in GIAL since the team's birth, achieving a fair amount of results, such as the two second placings at the recent SLAP Live #17 and at DreamHack Winter 08.
However, just three days ago GIAL
announced it would be stopping, so frozt was free to accept ROCCAT's offer.
Here's what he said about joining the team:From this day on I can with honour carry the ROCCAT tag in front of my name. I am really excited to start a new chapter with all the guys in ROCCAT, and I am sure that it will be an amazing time.
Peace Out!
Team ROCCAT now consists of:
Morten 'frozt' Pedersen
Danni 'rytme' Hansen
Martin 'orga' Hansen
Thomas 'inCre' Hector
Troels 'eXce' Kierulff
The team will be taking part in the ESEA league and TeX 2009, but they are not ruling out participating in other European events.
