@ ESL Pro Series Germany channel

The ESL's Fourteenth EPS season is closing in on the end of the season. Here is a rundown of whats happened so far

While the British EPS is still somewhat in it's infancy, the concept is no stranger to the Germans as they head towards the end of their 14th season. (Admittedly not all seasons have featured Counter Strike: Source)

Like the British version, the top 4 German teams also head to a LAN finals at the end of the season with the winner picking up a cheque worth €4000, while there is €100 up for grabs in each match

Here are a list of the teams involved in this season of EPS

As well as the LAN finals the German EPS have 8 "Intel Friday Night In" events, which tour the country.

The tour started in March in Munich and ends with one on the final 4 fridays of the season

This Week

This coming week the map rotation is back round to de_tuscan. Tie of the round, on the face of it appears to be Team ALTERNATE vs Clan00. Clan00 are sitting in 4th place, with only round difference seperating them from Team ThermalTake. Team ALTERNATE have their unbeaten record to keep in tact, but they will of course, be fresh from LAN 79. mTw will be converging on Hamburg for this weeks Intel Friday Night In. Joining them will be You Don't Know Me, who are currently languishing in midtable mediocrity. To look at their relative league positions you should say this will be an easy win for mTw, however, You Don't Know Me did hold Team Alternate to a draw a few weeks back on de_train, so they are capable of pulling out the results for the big occasions.

mTw and Team Alternate appear to have the top 2 spots in the bag, leaving it up to ThermalTake, Clan00, hoorai and SNOGARD Dragons to battle it out for the remaining 2 places. Although, mathematically its still possible for any of the top 10 to still qualify.
