With the second Qualification Round already played the European Nations Championship moves on to the third Qualification Round.
In the second Qualification Round six matches were played in total. In the Balkan derby the Greek team was able to overcome their Serbian opponents, while Ukraine lost versus a Slovenia that came from the first QR. Another team from the first QR, Romania, lost against the Portuguese national team, arguably the best formation in this set of games.
Ireland, who were initially knocked out of the competition in the first qualification round, replayed the match with Lithuania due to Aequitas files missing. They won and advanced to the second round where they eventually lost against Turkey. Finally, Croatia and Bosnia got default wins against Latvia and Israel respectively.
Then comes the third Qualification Round, with another six matches to be played. Teams coming from the second QR will face Switzerland, Poland, Spain, Netherlands, Italy and Belgium.
Don't miss the fourth and last Qualification Round, which will provide interesting matches with Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, UK and Hungary facing the winners of these fixtures.
