diamondZ Go To The zOo
@ Scene news channel

diamondZ pick up zOo

As we all know the scene has been a bit unstable lately, but its no surprise to anyone when we see the Finnish powerhouse zOo causing major upsets. What with beating Reason-Gaming, H2K.Thermaltake, EPSILON, and countless others in ESEA Europe aswell as being ranked 9th within the Cadred Top10, this team are proving that they are one of the best.

It is almost as if it was expected - that zOo would soon find a home that could provide what they needed. One thing that was unexpected to me personally, was the choice of diamondZ. Not known for their international interest, diamondZ picked up zOo with best intentions. I've had a small chat with Ole-Christian 'gem' Slaattene, and he told me he is happy with what diamondZ have done for them already. They have given them a trip to TeX, where they hope to place as best as they can. zOo were teamless for a while, after being with TLR, but now diamondZ are hoping to pick up the pieces and take on Europe with this team.

A statement was provided at the diamondZ site by the Norwegian player gem:

Today I'm pleased to announce that team zOo is officialy a part of the german organisation diamondZ e.V.. For some time we've been going back and forth considering our options, but we came to the conclusion that this was the best choice for us. With a new home in place we can also reveal that we'll be attending the-eXperience in Roskilde, Denmark - a tournament we are looking forward to with big hopes!

In addition to the-eXperience we will travel to Helsinki shortly after to attend the Assembly Summer, more precisely from the 6th till 9th of August. This is all we have for now, we hope as many of you as possible will take the opportunity to watch us play in both Denmark and Finland!

The current roster stands as:

Ollimatti ' delonge' Vehkalahti
Juho 'zaikovski' Sunnari
Ole-Christian 'gem' Slaattene
Sami 'SAMITSKY' Kuivala
Olli 'kononen' Salmi
