DuRuS recaps the game between Reason and dignitas

Dignitas stormed ahead in the consolidation finals to beat Reason in very comfortable fashion. The game that started on Backlot was always going to be a close game, with both teams exchanging results online. With BlackMane back it was certainly going to be an interesting encounter.  

Dignitas started perfectly, getting 5 rounds to Reason’s 1. BlackMane got a brilliant 1on3 clutch to take it to 6-1, and mark also was playing brilliantly. At 6-2 to dignitas, mark was already on 13-5, and BlackMane was just behind him.

Dignitas kept on going, kept on pushing, and kept on winning rounds. This was looking like the Reason vs fnatic game, but this time the wrong way.

“OWNED BY SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T EVEN PLAY THE GAME” shouted Blackmane towards the Reason players. At least it was clean if not a bit “in your face”. D1ablo was having a poor game, sitting at the bottom of the scoreboard, and kAMMYz finished with a mere 4 frags at the end of the game.

Reason are usually really strong with their SMGs with D1ablo and sLWx playing very well most of the time. But this game it was dignitas’s SMGers that were just brilliant. They were strong and aggressive constantly getting into the other team’s half of the map and ripping them to pieces.

At half time, it was pretty much over, with dignitas 10-2 up. Could this be a repeat of the fnatic game with Reason getting 10 rounds in row to pull it to Overtime? It was a simple answer, no. Dignitas kept on going with the same ferocity that had got them through the first half. Blackmane and mark were both playing brilliantly, clutching some big round. At 12-2 you could see the Reason players had given up hope.

They got the next round but this wasn’t going to be enough,  as dignitas took the next round to win the game and sending Reason crushing out. At least they are going to catch their flights. Dignitas will now play fnatic in the Grand Final, with dignitas needing 2 maps to win it.
