The Imperial.COD4 Released
@ Scene news channel

Despite their victory at Frag-O-Matic 11.1 just two weeks ago last night The Imperial announced they would be parting ways with their CoD4 side.

After Olivier "eXo" Andersen Röed left the side had been chopping and changing in an attempt to rebuild themselves. Unofficially they have added both Rody "DRAGZZ" De Graaf and Danny "DEKO" Meeuwsen and are playing under the temporary name of KOUTERS until their new home is revealed later this weekend.

PC Manager for The Imperial, Oli Adams seems to tell a different story to that of the players, suggesting that the removal has left a bitter taste in their mouths.

Oli "oLi" Adams, The Imperials PC Manager, had this to say:

"Today The Imperial have decided to remove the COD4 lineup from the organisation due to an extremely poor attitude from one of the players. We decided this cannot continue and so we released them from their contracts. I would like to wish them the best of luck and hope players like sander, robert and olivier find good teams."

Whilst Roy "obama" Godschalk gave this statement to Team Dignitas:

"We joined The Imperial 4 months ago and before we joined there were some great promises about all sort of support. I told them I didn’t want to get screwed over like iNFINITE did with us so they suggested to use contracts. I spoke with my players about it and not everyone was happy with it but at the end we still said yes. I cant talk about whats in the contract because I don’t think im allowed to. A sample of what happened is when Froster joined, The Imperial had a sponser deal with Excellent servers but Froster couldn’t use that server or any other German servers except from i3D so we tried to fix something because before we joined The Imperial managers promised us we could choose the server we want and they would order it. We asked for a gamersway server or an i3D server but 1 week after we joined they stopped paying the gamersway server so we always had to use servers from other teams and that didn’t felt good, because they promised it. Since the summerlans we didn’t had any server, no game server because even the excellent server was down but also the ventrillo was down. But because im the team leader it was always me complaining about things because its better to have 1 player talking with the management than all 5. After FOM The Imperial managers told me they couldn’t offer us any financial support for Call of Duty 6 so we spoke about it with eachother and decided to end Call of Duty 4 and then see what happens with Call of Duty 6. So I told The Imperial managers that we don’t want to extend our contracts and 5 days later they released us."

Temporarily known as KOUTERS the teams line-up is now:

Roy "obama" Godschalk
Rody "DRAGZZ" De Graaf
Danny "DEKO" Meeuwsen
Sander "fatal" Quaedvlieg
Robert "mean" Kouters
